Opposite

In our society, differences are spurned. If you don’t fit into a the picture perfect standard most people carry around with them, its game over. Recently, someone told me that I was “totally opposite” from them and everyone else. “That is not true, I have most of the same DNA as you, and our genetic structures are mostly the same”, I replied. “We both have the same cellular makeup, along with the same tissue varieties and vital organs”.
Opposites are usually very close to identical. You may completey miss the difference in 7 and its opposite, negative seven. They too closely resemble each other. Nearly identical, just inversed.

One needs only to stand in a throng of people to see how much God loves diversity. They come in all shapes, shades and sizes and the one thing they have most in common is that they all were created in the likeness and image of God.
Your reply was insightful. You are not opposite of that person and every one else, but I’m proud of your willingness to be different, unique and diverse. That’s how God made you. To sacrifice your difference, uniqueness and diversity to blend in with the crowd would be to forfeit your purpose.
