Some would read this and think it comes from someone terribly depressed, but terribly depressed people rarely share so openly. I read the words of an artistically gifted teenager who is learning early that he is not invincible and wisely articulates his struggle to himself and others.

In the hectic, activity crammed and fast paced world of this teen generation there are multitudes of overwhelmed teens who feel the same emotions and pressures. I hope your words and posted comments get forwarded to them.

We all feel like that - more than we like to admit. The world always piles on the pressure - no way around that. BUT, we can choose to slow down and remember the things that make us truly happy and focus on those things.

Those of us with artistic temperments struggle with this even more than most - it's the price we pay for the way our brains work.
