Life in Bold Type

Tomorrow, my church will do something huge. Tomorrow, Rock Church will go to double services. If you don’t already volunteer, this may seem like it doesn’t concern you. In truth, it removes a large reason for you to not volunteer. For a long time, members of Rock Church have not volunteered because they did not want to miss half of the services a year. Others haven’t volunteered for more selfish reasons. Many people don’t want to feed their church, and expect for it to continue to feed them. We’ll feed you, all right, but you will get so much more from serving. Down the hall in one of our Children’s class’s, up in the soundbooth, on the stage as a musician, or better yet, on the Club Rock stage.  Whatever you do best, do it. don’t just sit there.  Do you know what else just sits there and does nothing, but continues to be fed? a bump. a bump on a log. Don’t just be a bump on the log, help your church grow, and grow along with it. Now you have no excuse. Serve one and Attend one. You’ll thank me later.
